BiographyEight Ball Rattle started in Hamilton two years ago (early 2005), with founding member and guitarist Robert Dring. Singer Shae Snell joined soon after, followed by Matt Mooney later in 2006, and finally bassist Josh Indyke in early 2007.The bands music style ranges from rock, to new age metal, with influences coming from groups such as Alice in Chains, Killswitch Engage, and Papa Roach.Eight Ball Rattle get by on playing at small local gigs, they also opened for Blindspott at the Waikato University Orientation week 2007. They were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd and were asked to encore with another set.The bands short term goals are to increase their publicity by playing at more local gigs, both in Hamilton and around the North Island.Long term they hope to increase funds, enabling them to play in Australia and the South Island. They aim to publicise through radio and advertising, and plan to eventually tour through
