Jared Sewell of Phoenix, Arizona entrusted this 94 Toyota Supra to Intense Power of Mesa, AZ to modify an already solid chassis in to a reliable 972whp daily driver. With minimal external styling and a plethora of work done under the hood, it's as close to being a sleeper as possible for the infamous chassis that holds the fearsome 2JZ engine. Mynes performance and Arizona Forced Induction combined forces to put together this Evolution VIII with a fully built 4G64 motor and monstrous GT4202r turbo. Putting down a whopping 700whp at 40psi, this beast is nothing you'd want to rev on if you found yourself pulling up next to it at a street light. Ken Peak owner of Peak Boost/Phoenix Turbo oversaw the buildup of this 2005 Mitsubishi Evolution 8. Without building the internals on this stock 4G63 engine, his team of dedicated staff were able to push the limits of the timeless powerplant to the tune of 522whp. If you're an Arizona tuner owning this same chassis, you can rest assured there are capable hands to turn your vehicle over to for you tuning needs. Tucson Drift 3 @ Southwest International Raceway, February 17th, 2007 - Sunny skies and windy weather made for a perfect day to throw some tire dust and smoke into the desert air. Lessons were learned from the 2nd Trial by Fire event and participants were sure to bring plenty of tires to keep the action going all day long. With over 30 participants and plenty of spectators showing support, you can be certain the next Trial by Fire drift event held on April 15th will be a wild success. Always in full force, the 240sx owners saw an equal turnout of rx-7 and 350z owners to match them on their stomping grounds. With plenty of instructors on hand, everyone walked away from the event with a substantial amount of improvement. Major thanks to Trial by Fire and event sponsor Densetsu Motorsports for putting together an incredible day of motoring. Click HERE to view the photo gallery. What is it about Arizona that makes it a hotbed for the infamous Toyota Supra MKIV.
