The sane would do no good if they made themselves mad to help madmen. C.S. Lewis

About Me

Not much to say, really. Just a dude who likes a good cigar or pipe now and then, and a good, deep conversation to go with it. You may call me Godric, because I am obviously God's wreck, or I make a wreck of God. Either way, his grace is sufficient. I dream of the place Christ is preparing for me, and long for His return. Until then, I will live life as fully as I can, surrounded by God's grace, my wife's love, my kids' craziness, and the deep, deep desire to drive as fast as I can in the Lamborghini I don't own yet.

My Interests

Jesus. Through him, all thing are. Heaven, Theology, philosophy, history, politics, Lamborghini, art, music, evolution vs. creation theories, aviation, speeding in my car, economics, my wife, good cigars and pipe tobacco, books, thoughtI edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

I'd like to meet:

First, I absolutely enjoy anyone who is intellectually honest, so really, any true thinker would do nicely. As to famous people, first the dead ones: Presidents Lincoln, Reagan, Hoover, and Washington; C.S.Lewis; Adam and Noah(from Genesis); Kings David and Solomon; Orville and Wilbur Wright, Chuch Yeager, and Ferrucio Lamborghini. As to the living: Frederick Beuchner and Dennis Prager, they both inspire me greatly. Then Ted Dekker, Frank Perretti, Dan Hasseltine, Donald Miller, President Bush, Pope Benedict, Bob Wallace (test driver for Lamborghini), and the dude down stairs. (Just an update, I finally met the dude downstairs and it turns out, he's a great guy. I shoulda made the effort to meet him earlier.)

wise, old, crotchety, wretch of a man

He was a wretch of a man.  To put it simply, he hurt people.  His ill temper, his powerful fists, his love for drink and his lust for lust's sake were more than vices, and those cl...
