About Me

SHANE KRAUSE is an improvising Baritone Saxophonist and Clarinetist/Bass Clarinetist from Vancouver, BC. He has worked with a wide range of artists within Vancouver's independent musical communities, performing and/or recording with groups including oompah rock band They Shoot Horses (Kill Rock Stars), electronic glitchster Secret Mommy (Ache Records), and indie-poppers P:ano/Gigi, but his focus remains on jazz and improvised music. Shane is very active within Vancouver's improvised music community, performing in ad hoc ensembles and the 7 piece group heartwarmongering .
