Hello. My name is Amy Ramos.I am a girl who is 16 years old. I live in San Bernardino California and attend San Bernardino High School [SBHS] here. As "ghetto" as it may seem, I really do enjoy living here. I think I found the beauty behind it. There are plenty of things I don't like about living here and I wish to live in Pomona sometimes. I have moved a lot and it is nice to finally stay in one place. I still get the feeling I am moving though. I have never really been out of the state of California. I stayed only in South California. I wish to visit other countires later in life. I have some of the most amazing friends here and I don't wish to move because I am tired of losing friends. I have plenty of good friends, "friends", frienemies, acquaintances, but very very few friends. **Friend- When you have true friends you should only be able to count them with your fingers [on one hand]. I only think I have three friends. There is my very very good friend Jesse [Jesse Nasty]. It took him a while to call me his friend, but I admire him for that because he chooses his friends wisely. I love and respect that. There is also Robby [Robot]. I think of him as a brother who I can talk to about anything. Last, but most certainly not least is Jonathan. Him and I have gone through so much together. I don't know if he calls me his friend, but I am glad to call him mine. I know that sounds odd to call him my friend, but he is such a good person to me.
This may sound like anything anyone else might say, but I believe no one likes to be labled. Call me what you want, but I don't consider myself goth, psychobilly, rockabilly, emo, or what ever. If you want to call me something like that go ahead, but I am not what you say or think I am. Yes, I respect all styles and genres and sub-genres. I like changing the way I dress. Why should I only dress one way? Why should my clothes reflect so much on the way I act or things I “must” like? I dress the way I want to. One day I might look like a goth kid or a rockabilly or like a hippy, but I don't care. Call me a poser for all I care. I am not afraid to show the many sides of me. [I try to mix every style I like to make my own or if I am just in a certain mood I dress a certain way. I am a very opened minded person, but I can also be one of the pickiest person you will meet. Sometimes I do let things get to me so I do tend to stereotype others. I am not going to say I don't lie because then I would be lying. I also contradict myself. Why? I don't know, but sometimes I am not all there. I think it's because my opinions change here and there. People change. Also I am honestly not sure of myself right now. Some people believe I am this smart girl who should just knows everything, but others see me as this slow person who may just be insane or may just be in some need of assistance, but I don't know. Think of me what you will. I just don't like it when people expect things from me as if I should just know how to do everything. I will admit to this. I think way too much about my life. I am very pessimistic. I also can't complete a simple task without thinking about it and in the end I completely change the subject or rambling. A lot of people think they know me so well, but they don't. It's funny really. I think the person who knows me best is Jesse.
