Andrew

Boy, is my thumb not on the pulse of America.

About Me

I work in video games. Music is my real obsession, though. I play both trumpet and bass, though mostly it's the trumpet these days. If you need some trumpet for your recording and your music is weird and wonderful, hit me up!I am also slowly working to finish the second album for my previous band The Wedding's Off.Check out our page on the Ebola Music Website .It seems like I'm always on my way to or from some show, rehearsal or recording. I also play with myself. Musically, that is, under the pseudonym Andes Crash .I'm obsessed with travel and can't wait to see (most) all of the countries around this dripping wet world of ours. After trips to Eastern Europe, Asia and S. America in the last couple years, I am seriously hooked on exploring exotic and cool countries other than America! This profile was edited with MySpace Profile Editor MySpace Profile Editor .. width="425" height="350" .. ..Your Text Here

My Interests

Your government is in control again. Here. Here's American Gladiators. Watch this, shut up. Go back to bed, America.

I'd like to meet:

Bill Hicks, Clifford Brown, Moondog

Music:

I try to play as much music as I can. Bands I play with (some often, some not) include Cat Hair Ensemble, Ebola Music Orchestra, Bodies of Water, Dorian Wood, Cobra Lilies, Smells Like Flan and the Killsonic Marching Gang. I have also played live with and/or recorded with Ferraby Lionheart, Listing Ship, Edwardo and some others. Do I play "rock trumpet"? Jazz? I hate it when people ask me. I play music with my friends. I play music that I would like to hear. Isn't that really the only answer?

Movies:

Favorites include McCabe & Mrs Miller, Brazil, Clockwork Orange, Bring Me The Head of Alfredo Garcia, a whole slew of noirs and westerns. Oh, and The Fountain!

Television:

I don't think TV is evil, nor is it completely filled with suckitude. I know it's cool to not watch/have a tv, but then I'd miss out on The Wire, Battlestar Galactica, Dexter and a couple other shows that are as good or better than anything, ever. I DO prefer to watch tv seasons of these great shows on DVD.

Books:

Michael Chabon, M. John Harrison, Philip K. Dick, George Pelecanos, Cormac McCarthy, James Ellroy, etc.Basically as much twisted, rising-above-genre junk as I can stuff in my eye-holes.
