God. Faith. The culture of life. Youth ministry. Learning about any of the above... my current addiction is screen shopping for motorcycles on craig's list. Music - recording, performing, composing, mixing, listening, studying, all of it... I love going to concerts and working shows...which transitions to my other love, production. I think live production is my favorite at the moment, but I of course have a fondness for recording and mixing audio and taping and editing video. I also love the outdoors, including rock climbing, hiking, canoing, white water rafting, camping, scuba diving, etc. I love to read whenever I have the time. I love travel, and exploring...and anything and everything adventurous! I love art. Sometimes I just need to paint or take a picture. Take me to a museum, and I'll be happy :) I enjoy games, especially card games. I'm up for just about anything fun!
Someone who can tell me precisely what to do with my life, haha. If only God handed out a syllabus with dates and names...
I have little respect for anyone who cannot properly appreciate the Renaissance Lute. You know, because I'm just a musical snob like that and shun all of my normal friends...NOT... but I do particularly enjoy Ronn McFarlane, the Baltimore Consort, John Dowland, Andrew York, Manuel Ponce, and Fernando Sor. In the normal musical world, I'm a fan of Anberlin, the Benjamin Gate, Weezer, Eddie from Ohio, Mae, Yellow Card, Matt Maher, the Beatles, and others... I play classical guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, and the lute (when I can get my hands on one). I love writing, recording, mixing, producing, performing, live production...
Fav movie is DEFINITELY Swing Kids. Also a big fan of Bella, Juno, Fight Club, Ferris Buller's Day Off, School of Rock, A League of Their Own, Sabrina (old school and new), all the Audrey Hepburn movies, Rent, Crash, Elizabethtown, Mean Girls...others...
Lost, the Office, NewsRadio, Daria, Even Stevens, the Simpsons, Roswell, the Pretender...I like a lot of shows that are canceled...most of the time I just have the tv on as background noise, I don't really pay attention to it very much.
The Bible (of course), Martin Eden by Jack London, most books by C.S. Lewis, specifically Perelandria and the Great Divorce, The Mayan Prophecies by Cotterell, If Chins Could Kill by Bruce Campbell
Christ, first and foremost. Some of the more influential youth ministers/catechists in my life growing up, such as Anita Yates, Shane Morrison, Tom Esposito, Donna Holub, and Diane Conlon. DEFINITELY Fr. Richardson, Fr. Patrick, and Fr. Geddes. Lately St. Catherine of Siena and St. Dominic are particularly blowing me away in the saint realm. I KNOW Father Richardson and Saint Catherine have my back and are praying for me from heaven and I love them both dearly...
