I'd like to meet many people, namely the person who invented Cheez-its because those are really good. I also want to meet Jane Austen, the Smothers Brothers, Jimmy Stewart, Douglas Addams, that kid who ran into me the other day because he really hurt my shoulder and I'd have a thing or two to say to that jerk, a plethora of other assorted people, and Bush so I could ask him why he is so silly. Wow, lots of those people are dead already, thats why I can't meet them yet
So I love pert-near every type of music when you look at everything. I really like Celtic, Indian, Folk, Bluegrass (not to be mistaken for country which is bleck), Alternative, some R&B, Rock, a little Punk, stuff that doesn't really have a genre, and Smothers Brothers which are in their own genre, and so on and on and on. Here's a long and altogether un-encompassing list: Regina Spektor, John Gorka, John Denver, Alison Krauss, Nickel Creek, Doris Day, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Kate Rusby, Cara Dillon, The Cottars, Eliza Carthy, The Chieftans, Jason Mraz, Butterfly Boucher, Jack Johnson, Suad Masie, Ace of Base, The Andrew Sisters, Franky (Sinatra that is), Rufus Wainright, Damien Rice, Martin Sexton, David Wilcox, Cindy Lauper, Enya, Frou Frou, Teagan and Sarah, Dean Martin, Nancy Griffith, Connie Dover, the Beatles, Altan, Norah Jones, Mark Knopfler, the Cranberries, Etta James, Sachmo. . . .
I would not be who I am without the immortal Pirates of Penzance. All musicals (mainly Singing in the Rain, 7 Brides, Oklahoma, and Phantom), The Lord of the Rings (I'm a geek I know), Mr. Smith goes to Washington, Arsnic and Old Lace, Black and white movies in general. Yeah, there's lots more. Whale Rider. Bend It Like Beckham. I absolutely adore Bride & Prejudice, all the films of Jane Austen's works, Corpse Bride, Midsummers Night Dream, Pirates of the Carribean, Much Ado About Nothing, Indiana Jones is the bomb, plus many that I can't think of now.I LOVE GENE KELLY!
Television is for Loosers! Yep, I'm talking about you!
All and every classic practically. I love Jane Austen, Harry Potter--but who doesn't?--, all the Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, C.S. Lewis in general, Hounds of the Morrigan, Gail Carson Levine stories, Mr. Brown can Moo can You?. Hey I read all the time, alright.
Mi Popi, and Gordon B.
