I'd like to meet:

Well, I've already seen my dream realized when I met Bo Bice back in August 2006. I'd love to meet the members of his band that I haven't yet. Shane Sexton, Heath Clark and Coop. I've already met Kris Bell and Thomas Lee.

I'd love to meet the ladies I've gotten to know online the last 2 years as well as some of the bands I've come to love through Myspace...Ghosts on the Radio, Method of Friction to name a couple.

I'd love to meet Johnny Depp as well. It'd be fun to sit down and just talk to him. He also seems to be one of the most down to earth stars and I think that would make him easy to talk to.

I'd love to meet Oprah because, lets face it, she's Oprah!

I'd also like to meet Gwen Stafani, Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn, Kelly Clarkson and Chris Daughtry.

Music:

I love the bands that either I have found or they found me or that were recommended to me. Two in particular are Method of Friction and Ghosts on the Radio. They are both very good and I highly recommend you check them out! Both of them are in my top friends.

Eric Stradler is an amazing guitarist. I could just sit and and listen to his music for hours!

Some of my favorite artists or bands are The Beatles, Bon Jovi, Bo Bice, Chris Daughtry, Justin Timberlake, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Billy Joel, Elton John, Aerosmith, any of the 80's rock or 60s music, any of the Motown artists.

Movies:

I like all kinds of movies. Normally, I won't be caught dead at a slasher movie, but I was talked into Rob Zombie's Halloween this summer. It was pretty good.

My favorite movie is Moonstruck. It's one that I've always watched and well watch everytime I see it on tv no matter where it is in the movie.

Some of my other top favorites are What Dreams May Come, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy, The Xmen movies, 50 First Dates, The Lost Boys, Underworld and Underworld:Evolution, Twister, and Sky High.

To let true love remain unspoken is the quickest route to a heavy heart.

I also love a good movie that can make me cry like Titanic, Pearl Harbor, Steel Magnolias and Moulin Rouge.

Television:

When it comes to TV, I like crime dramas, dramas and reality shows. (I'll admit it.) I also like sitcoms too, though I don't seem to watch those very much anymore.
American Idol is my current favorite show. That show can be so addicting I started watching during Season 4 and now I'm hooked. The show has introduced me to some talented people like Bo Bice and Chris Daughtry.

I love Heroes, too. It's cool how they leave you wanting for more every week. I love when serial dramas don't give you all the information right off the bat or try to rush the storylines. I like that I haven't figured everything out yet.
I have liked just about all the crime dramas that I've seen. CSI, CSI:Miami, CSI:NY, NCIS, Without a Trace and Criminal Minds are just a few of my favorites. Its pretty ironic that I even like these shows as they can get kind of gory and I am not a fan of gore.

Books:

I like just about all kinds of books. I don't really have a favorite author, more like favorite topics.
I tend to read a lot of non fiction. History is one of my favorite topics. I'm working on a good book about US history. I'm currently up to the 60s and it goes up to the War on Terror. It's almost hard to believe that I'm almost done!
This is the book:
Another good historical book I've read was on the World Trade Center. It was called City in the Sky: The Rise and Fall of the World Trade Center. It goes from the intial planning to the construction all the way though 9/11 and some of the aftermath. It was very compelling.
I like biographies. Probably my favorite was one on Audrey Hepburn. She had such a grace about her and it was interesting to read about her early life. I liked Princess Diana's biography too. I've also read Greg Louganis' autobiography. I think that one is right up there with Audrey Hepburns as my favorite.
I love Greek and Roman Mythology too. There is just something about those stories that I like. I've never been able to pin point it, but its always been one of my favorite subjects.
I also love the online stories I've been reading the last year and a half. Some of it is fan fiction and some of it isn't. I've learned that some of the ladies I've met share the same passion for writing. Some of my favorite online authors are Ruby, Maureen and Sally to name a few.

Heroes:

My heroes are people that inspire me to be the best person I can be. People who are kind, generous and compassionate.

My mom is my main hero. Anyone that can survive 2 warring teenaged daughters is a hero in my book :) Anyone that knows her can tell you, she's a pretty amazing person and totally fun to be around

My grandmother was another hero of mine. Although she's gone, I still think she is looking down on me...and occasionally dropping by to check in. Compassion and kindness just surrounded her like a blanket. I'll always miss her.

Anybody that chooses a profession that puts their lives on the line. Anybody willing to become a cop, firefigher or join the military is a hero in my eyes. They possess a kind of courage that I deeply admire.
