MORLOK is a french death metal band. It was founded in April 2006 by Gabriel, with Riko and Bobish. These two last ex ‘Slaughterhouse’. Our sources of influences go from Deicide to Slayer while passing by Obituary, Sepultura, Krisiun, Massacra, Mortification… In our lyrics, it’s a question of hatred, cannibalism, despair, suffering, violence, sex... often comparing the dark side of human and the brutality of Morlocks. The name “Morlocks†is extract from the novel by H.G Wells “the time machineâ€, they are monsters who lived in the underworld. And they arise from the earth to eat humans of the surface. The choice of this name was inspired by their dark side, brutality and violence...
