About Me

I'm a singer/songwriter from the Saginaw area, recently moving from West Michigan. I'm currently working on my second solo album after having worked with several bands throughout the years. Rather than have a bio that concentrates on the past I would like to say that I'm very much looking forward to what the future brings. In the last year several changes have taken place in my personal life, including getting married March of this year to my amazing, beautiful wife Stacey, moving across the state to build our life together, the expected arrival of our son Noah, and more to come. As far as my music is concerned it has taken a backseat to some of these changes but with this I've been able to make some important upgrades and have been able to concentrate on what kind of sound I'm really going for on this next album. Influences: There are SO many. Outside of music, God, my family, friends. Music wise... I'm just going to go off on a random blurting out of artists and leave it at that, and I know I'll leave many out even still. Toad the Wet Sprocket, Matchbox20, Gin Blossoms, James Taylor, The Eagles, Sarah Mclaughlan, Jimmy Eat World, Norah Jones, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, STP, Smashing Pumpkins, Glen Phillips, Don Henley, Jimmy Buffett, Garth Brooks, Better than Ezra, John Mayer, and so many more.
Sounds Like: So not fair trying to compare myself to others as I will always feel inferior, but, other's have told me I sound like Rob Thomas (matchbox20), Better than Ezra, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Gin Blossoms, or Counting Crows, and there are other comparison's I'm sure. I've been told by drunk peope when playin in clubs when not playing the song they want to hear that I sound like "crap". Not sure what songs they've done though.
