I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I live in Chicago. It's a beautiful city but I could do without the cold winters, although hot chocolate in February is a favorite of mine. I'm motivated, with an eye for perfection in most things I do. Interior Design is a passion of mine, my own room was always my workshop to the point where it became an ultra-modern showroom of ultimate comfortability. That last sentence makes sense to me! ...My friends are wonderful people, and each have something unique about them that makes me smile. I like things with cinnamon for breakfast, and relaxation to me is driving down Lake Shore Drive in the summer with an orange mocha frappuchino. I've always wanted to vacation in Paris. If I fall in love with the atmosphere, I may reestablish myself there.

My Interests

Interior Design, Shopping, Current Events that spark my interest, no politics - they bore me. Movies, and Music.

I'd like to meet:

Always wanted to meet Edith Piaf (French singer back in the 40s-60s), and Coco Chanel. Would love to go back in time and witness a major historical event. As for now, fellow alumni from high school or college (K.I.T. people!), and if you find me on here and recognize me, drop me a line!View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment

Music:

I love all types of music, especially jumpy & upbeat stuff. Greek music (Garbi, Zina, Vandi, Vissi, Glykeria, Kokkinou, etc.), L'il Kim (Champagne in my campaign, Brooklyn!) Ministry of Sound's Annual album, Rock (modern stuff but also older & classic - 70's&80's, Journey, U2, just the overall lyrics & beat will draw my attention. A favorite of mine is Edith Piaf (French singer during the 40's-60's). Also disco, rap, classical and opera (Debussy, Mozart, the opera Carmen) as well, and can't forget the mid-late 90's/Roxbury era - SNAP! Almost anything and everything!

Movies:

I have different favorites in every genre. Mostly comedies, but also enjoy Action/Adventure, Drama, Foreign, and movies based on historical events. Also musicals, and some classic films (Gone with the Wind).

Television:

70's - modern stuff. Good Times (DAMN, DAMN, DAMN!), Jeffersons, Golden Girls, Keeping up Appearances and Absolutely Fabulous on BBC, King of Queens, General Hospital/All My Children, American Idol

Books:

Last one was Rising '44 by Norman Davies. Also like Rebecca by Daphne DuMaurier. Books documenting historical events (WWII, Chicago History).
