Without neglecting their death metal roots, Mondocane from Graz/Austria have finally decided to break into the metalcore scene...
Besides the styles of heroes like Hatebreed, Kingdom of Sorrow, Unearth, Parkway Drive, End of Days, As I Lay Dying, God Forbid, Chimaira and many more, Mondocane tend to break your neck muscles with brutal riffing, Sweden style melodies, nu metal groove and hardcore moshparts, all of which will come across with southern rock coolness à la Crowbar and Down.
The most striking elements of Mondocane, however, are the deep and powerful shouts by 18 year old vocalist Jan Dostal, which hit you right into your stomach; but tightness in playing and presence in stage acting of guitars, bass and drums are also state of the art.
Founded in December 2006 by Rob, Peter (Sole Method), Jan (ex-Pariah), Juergen (ex-Eventide) and Mitch (ex-Surviving The Sunset), Mondocane is hot and willing to be heard by a big audience! Their first demo is coming out soon…
