Books, books, and more books. I love to read and now finally have time for it. I also, as stated elsewhere, love to write and tell stories of my own.The theatre. I love going to plays, my new haunt is the Knightsbridge Theatre in Silverlake. I also enjoy acting, but I have, sadly, not been doing much of that. And, of course, learning. Anything and everything.
Alive or Dead? I'll do both.Robert A Heinlein. Actually, a lot of authors: Asimov, Clarke, Bova, Baxter, Peter David, JK Rowling, St John.Ben Franklin, any NASA or JPL people. Matt Jeffries, James Horner, Gene Roddenberry, Alexander Courage, B&B (just to smack), Keira Knightly, Natalie Portman.Mostly people I admire, drool over, or want to smack.Below are my friends in no particular order. The order was decided by a random numerical generator. New friends will be moved to the front until the next mixing.
..
Just about anything. My music collection has a bit of everything, mostly stolen at this point. For dancing purposes, I like the Gothic-Industrial scene. Someone needs to open another good Saturday Club in LA again!
Serenity!!! The Star Treks (all but V), The Original Star Wars Trilogy, the View Askewiverse, The Jacket, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Butterfly Effect, Pirates of the Caribbean, Gattaca, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Office Space, The Boondock Saints...Like my music, movies covers a lot. Science Fiction, Drama, Comedy, A few Romance, Action, Fantasy, and everything in between.
Anything funny like Simpsons and South Park. Dramas like The Dead Zone, Lost, Cold Case. Those are the ones that last. I also love good, doomed series' like Firefly, John Doe, and some others that I can't think of. Science Fiction: The new Battlestar Galaticia, Star Trek, Babylon 5 (No I will NOT debate which is better, etc.), X-files, Heroes.I have also gotten into Survivor again, mainly because we have a pool at my work. Also, Deal or No Deal.
Right now, I am working through all of Heinlein's works, but I will bounce into anything that interests me. At work I am reading an SPSS/statistics book. It is pretty interesting to a geek like me.
Anyone who stands for what they believe in.
