I came from a place not known to many,Martinsville VA.The only girl of four children,big things to come was only a matter of time.In my younger years,I decided to enter pageants and walk around in pretty dresses. I had to have the attention,I was the only girl!When asked what my talent would be,I replied,"I am going to sing!" and my mom didn..t want to be embarrassed, so a vocal coach was found and there I was.WHAT A SHOCK FOR MY MOM!First song for me at 7years old was "Believe In Yourself" from the musical,THE WIZ.Traveling to different states for competitions and singing at weddings was a normal thing for me.Yes I knew I wanted to be a STAR!I would sing at any given chance.The church was my safe place and I could really scream there, but could not understand why everybody else was running and screaming!HALELUIA!:)Education was very important and I did what I had to do to get through and it was tough at times, but I kept at it.Virginia State University Music Department exposed me to the campus life and the theories of music.I studied with professors such as Eminent Scholar Aldrich Adkins, Johnella Edmonds, James Holden just to name a few.I knew I wanted more so guess what!HERE I AM!I wanted more so I got it!Just keep your eyes on this prize!I STILL WANT MORE AND I..M GONNA GET IT!2008 IS A YEAR OF NEW BEGINNINGS FOR THIS SUPA SISTA AND WITH THE HOTTEST TRACKS PRODUCED BY KEVIN MCCOY,ONLY GOOD THINGS ARE YET TO COME!
