Band Members: The poor unfortunate souls that are currently keeping the Death Machine oiled and running are:
Dane G. Russ Tom Kamnikar Alec Townsend Pabst Blue Ribbon Camel Time Cigarettes Cheap Canadian WhiskeyDane and the Death Machine is a living entity that I have no control over. It is symbiotic with myself and the humans that get in the way of it's path usually tend to leave pretty quickly. However, I have been lucky to have them...here are the names of anyone who has ever contributed to this music: Dane G Russ - Writes the music, sings, and lately has been recording every instrument himself due to a lack of musicianship.
Aye Lee Dee - One of Danes Greatest inspiration and all time loves. She is a beautifuly artistic soul and designed the cover for what will be When Amonia Meets Bleech. She also wrote the monologue at the end of "inside me". Tom Kamnikar - Tom Rocks the Bass for Dane and the Death Machine in it's current form. His drive and Charisma make him one of the strongest players in Dane and the Death machine yet. Andy B. - A rocket sauce drummer for Dane and the Death Machine...but when his love child band cried out to him...he just had to quit. Andrew Allred - Andrew briefly rocked out with the Death Machine, and performed an acoustic three piece show with Dane and Tom at Kilby Court. Wesley Deuren - One of the most consistant members...He was one of Danes best and worst friends. He is no longer a part of the machine, nor will he ever be again.
Brett Nelson- The first real musician that has ever made a connection with Dane. The two of them founded the band Half-Step with drummer, Alec Townsend. He has performed with the Death Machine on multiple occasions, and hopefully will find the time to perform with it again one day.
Alec Townsend- He was only sixteen when he started drumming for Half-Step. He brought Wesley and Dane together for the first time. He started drumming for Dane and the Death Machine at 19, after leaving for a year, he is again rocking for the Death Machine.
Kamyar Ghassemy - A brilliant hip hop artist who lent his talents of the bass to this project on many an occasion. He is also like a brother to Dane, and will hopefully have many more opportunities to play with the Death Machine in the future.
The West - An amazing solo musician and one of Danes close friends. He has contributed endlessly to the Machine in the year 2005 in both performing and recording on albums. He was also cool enough to let Dane throw down some bass tracks on his new album, "HOLD COLD HANDS" (out now Click here to check out his nerosis )
Amytronikkk - This girl is crazy cool. She wrote all of the lyrics and performed vocals for "Ibrokeupwithmydrugstoday"
Danny Gast - the original drummer for I am Alpha (an experimental instrumental anti-robot explosion)...he broke up with us after we got too soft and turned into Dane and the Death Machine.
Evan - don't know his last name...but he came in and replaced Danny for a while. Then Dane decided he hated bands and broke the whole thing up.
Chad Taylor - Hands down the most brilliant guitar player in America. I've been fortunate enough to watch him play for the last seven years of my life, and have him play with the machine from time to time.
Craig Secrist - The most intense visual artist of our life time and nobody even knows it. He has designed multiple images and lent them to this Machine. One day I hope the world will worship him as they should.
Irazu Hilario - The first official photographer of the Death Machine. Due to complications of life she can no longer work with us, but any long term fan has enjoyed countless photos of us from her.
Brandon Hays - Dane's step brother. He recorded the first ever Dane and the Death Machine recordings after Half-Step broke up. They were just stupid little songs recorded in a basement and a bedroom, but for some reason people thought they were good so Dane recorded Thanatron.
Chris Hussey - Recorded THanatron for Dane out of the kindness of his heart. We basically hung out in his studio, smoked bowls, ate candy, and every once in a while recorded a song. It never got finished due to some strange falling out.
