About Me

BioThe Grab Brothers Band hails from the musical hotbed of Boston/Cape Cod. Original Duo and now featured as a "Power Trio" (Acoustic & Rock). A powerful 3-piece rock and roll outfit with an equally potent penchant for hook-laden rockers, and riveting excitement to their most infectious ballads. There is a vital chemistry at the core of their gutsy musical style. It encompasses an intriguing blend of an early Genesis infused with a Jethro Tullish Celtic taste and a bit of The Grateful Dead influence. Just catchy straight out rock-n-roll! "These guys not only have the ability to give you hard driving no-nonsense rock, but also can slow the pace to eloquently strum a few acoustic gems! And when the brothers sing together, their vocal harmonies are just amazing!"Website: www.grabbrothersband.com Email: [email protected] Contact: Larry Grab @ (508) 487-4712 Press Release & CDs available upon request:Musical Backgrounds:Larry Grab: Trained privately with Karen Shepard: She worked with Richard Rodgers, Oscar Hammerstein, Yule Brynner, Sammie Davis Jr. and trained at the Actors Studio, New York City. Sounds Like: Jethro Tullish taste with a blend of Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead and Rush. Also, on the acoustic side, a bit of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Plus a little Simon & Garfunkelish. The sound is unique and very hard to pigeon hole.
