bikes, barley wine, tea, talking. music, touching, holding, smiling, writing, and exploration. films, running away (but staying close by), singing, dancing, carrying-on. frame building, beer making, music creatin'.
folks to go to bars with and ride bikes with. maybe some one to feel close to and such. someone who can make me smile. someone who can mend broken hearts. friends from long ago and not so long ago.
bands that express their emotions through heart-felt lyrics. if the tiny hairs on my neck stick-up and i get surges of energy through my body, that's even better. screamy goodness, emotional goodness, i just like music that makes me think. i'm not gonna list bands, that's pretentious.
see music, only apply that to movies. movies that make force you to think, or feel uncomfortable.... those are winners.
i like several cartoons on "adult swim". i like the simpson's and arrested development. i like iron chef and i like nova and other science/history programs. i also like shows like e!s true hollywood story and vh1s behind the music.oh yeah, one more season of six feet under and i can go on living my life as normal. damned HBO.
are like movies and music, only you create your own scenes and sounds... i think that the books i read also fall into the same catagories as movies and music, in that the books have to cause a great impact on me. they need to make me think, make me uncomfortable, or get me tingly. if not, they suck. currently i'm reading about philosophy, if anyone has suggestions on philosophers to read, let me know.
