About Me

Singer-Songwriter and guitarist Jon Fordham, also known as Jof, has a diverse collection of acoustic/rock/indie style songs, and influences in The Stone Roses, REM, Crowded House and U2 shine through. Although many of his recordings are backed by a full band (mostly him), Jof’s songs still stand strong when stripped back to just guitar and vocals – Check out the video clip below for a live acoustic version of ‘Better Than That’.

He has recently been joined by guitarist Andy Hall to form an acoustic duo, who are now performing in the Bucks/Herts/London area. As well as playing a second guitar and backing vocals on many of the songs, Andy also likes to inject his own flavour of fun and variety into some of the songs by playing percussion, bass, and anything else he feels like having a go at.Although Jof has recorded 2 albums and has enough songs for a 3rd one, we reckon there are still a few people left in the world who have yet to hear the thoughtful and beautifully crafted debut album, ‘Better Than That’, so check out the 3 tunes on this site and download the title track below for free! There are now also 3 tracks from an Acoustic Demo.Click here to Contact Jof
