Acting Studio Chicago Director, Rachael Patterson, is committed to continuing the tradition of the Audition Centre, which was founded in 1981 by Casting Director Jane Brody. Our training is based upon the Twelve Guideposts of Michael Shurtleff, well-known teacher, casting director, and author of the actor's "bible", AUDITION. Mastery of the principles augments instinct and talent with a practical set of skills. This clear cut technique demystifies the actor's process and offers a path to creative discovery through action.Acting Studio Chicago has been the most recommended professional training center in Chicago for 25 years.
