PIGEONS IN MOTION

About Me

value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nWQL-wWx0qY" ..
Pigeons In Motion have been a band for around 3 and a half years, starting out called 'Arrangement' and had the band members Chris Brumwell, Dan Redgate and Alex Ison. The band never got round to recording any songs and never performed anywhere.
Soon after forming Redgate and Brumwell lost patience with the drummer Ison and the band were left with nowhere to go. After about 5 months of no activity from the Arrangement camp Brumwell invited Redgate to a band practice of his other band blueblood after a couple of band practices though that project fell through. Being big Blink-182, Feeder, Bowling For Soup fans Brumwell and Redgate decided to pursue a band of the pop/punk genre although found themselves alone for about 3 months, although within this time Pigeons In Motions first song was written You can be, later re-named anymore Wellacre Technology college was the source of the rest of the band desperately needed for ideas to progress. The guitarist; Robert Sumbland who had been in school with Redgate since primary days seemed an ideal guitarist for this band, and eventually Robert was announced as the new lead guitarist. As with the guitarist, the drummer was also found, originally he approached current band members about the vacancy, Barrie Lear had been working with Rob on a project called the wooden pegs and because of this link with Rob the band decided to see what could happen. But there seemed to be something missing, yes there was a bassist, guitarist, drummer and vocalist - enough for a band but this band felt something more was needed, up steps Timothy Liversage. Keen singer from a young age, and liker of similar music to the band members it seemed right to introduce a second vocalist.
Now the band was formed a few things needed to be sorted out, first on the agenda; the band name, the name 'Arrangement' was to put it bluntly - Rubbish! So the band turned to youngster Droo Brumwell, none of us know where it came from but he came up with the name 'Pigeons In Motion' and it has stuck ever since.
Since then the band have recorded three E.P's namely 'The Drama Studio Rock Out', 'Sitting Here Waiting For These Lights To Change' and 'Yours sincerely' and have a back catalogue of around 20 songs.
Unfortunately in April 2006 vocalist Tim Liversage had to leave the band due to medical reasons and his farewell performance was on April 30th 2006. Pigeons in motion were kindly supported by Midnight Special and Sleeping West for Tim's farewell, an audience of friends, fans and family turned out to give Tim a leaving night he wont forget. Tim will now take hold of a managerial role but will be sorely missed by the band and fans alike. Despite this setback pigeons in motion have decided to carry on and are working on their new album. One song is currently witten with at least another 5 songs in the pipeline. The band havent commented much about the sound the band are undertaking on the next album, but its going to be different.
