Curiouser & Curiouser (Or CnC as it has been nicknamed) is published by the 100% independent media organisation—RHUM. Only a year old and 20, 000+ subscribers strong from all over Australia, CnC has a hefty editorial voice in Indie Rock, Pop, Altenative and Hip Hop. RHUM are more than a little proud of having developed it's presence by word of mouth and not advertising.
The internet has done wonders to showcase brilliant independent artists. But there’s a flip slide to this—with so much information available these days, where do you start to read?
Regrettably we are still living in a world where the major record companies are almost exclusively fixed on guaranteed hits. A world where the weighty, well connected (not to mention over-paid) control the thoughts of millions with words that sell, to media being paid to market something they could care less about. That pretty much makes us sick.
Unfortunately that world is cast with sparse media platforms for independent, developing and breaking new, ingenious and/or under-represented music. Curiouser & Curiouser The RHUM media E-MAG is trying to break through that mould.
RHUM media is not only artist focussed—we provide platforms for gifted, dedicated multi media aspiring professionals. An opportunity to show the world their muscles in the world of music journalism. RHUM media is scantly funded by arts grants and run by passionate young opinionated professionals who donate their time pro-bono. A team of qualified legends, developing their folios with gold offerings.
