This could go on for hours. The short and sweet version is anything with good rhythm. I like bands like Audioslave, RHCP, Primus, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, Rush, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, White Stripes, Mudvayne, U2, 311, The Cure, Led Zeppelin, Type O Negative, Fear Factory, Prodigy, A Perfect Circle, Alice In Chains, Billy Idol, The Bloodhound Gang, Beastie Boys, The Butthole Surfers, Deftones, Faith No More, Incubus, Korn, Lit, Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Queen, Radiohead, Sevendust, Sonic Youth, Soul Coughing, Soundgarden, STP, Toadies, etc. So if I had to categorize it. It would be Rock. I guess.
