About Me

Emmanuel’s musical journey began at the age of just 6 when, through private tuition, he was introduced to classical music. Over the next 8 years, he'd developed a range of techniques from Classical to Gospel to Jazz & Blues, R'n'B and Soul to Folk, discovered he had perfect pitch, and with frequent opportunities in his local church and other venues, developed in his ability to play the piano (solo) in public. Having worked with a wealth of artistes and bands, this enabled Emmanuel to experiment & develop his improvisation and spontaneity, producing the flair and diversity that have become his hallmark.Emmanuel has worked with the likes of Ruth Waldron (formerly Lynch), Junior Robinson, Ruby Turner, Doris Troy, Mitchell Jones, Steve Brookstein (X-Factor winner), David & Carrie Grant, Joshua Alamu, Cece Sammy, Nathan Prime, Kenny Thomas, David Daniel & PCF Choir, Keith Staten, Fay Simpson, Karen Gibson & Kingdom Choir, Mike Parlett, Gerald T.Smith, Andre Brown, London Community Gospel Choir, Kamelia Todorova, Ola Onabule and many many others of which some were being featured for television (including the 'Royal Variety Performance' before Prince Charles) and radio, nationally and internationally. Emmanuel also had the pleasure of performing impromptu on stage with George Duke at the Jazz Cafe, London. His music has taken him around the UK and to countries such as Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Italy, Jersey, Jordan, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Trinidad and USA to name.Emmanuel is also a producer having produced his own debut solo piano album 'Portrait of a Journey' which he recorded impromptu. He also produced the GEM award winning album 'Lifter of My Head' from talented songwriter & artist - Brian Martin and has been previously involved in a number of recording projects in the UK and abroad (even for Bollywood) and some of those projects are due for release this year.Emmanuel has also worked in theatre, having had the opportunity to direct the music for the show 'Simply Heavenly'. Emmanuel is currently performing at the Shakespeares Globe Theatre on the show 'The Frontline' (see upcoming shows).Emmanuel also teaches and conducts workshops (mainly Gospel, Jazz & Blues) both in the UK and abroad and during this year he will release his sophomore album.Apart from his website (see general info) Emmanuel is also contactable at [email protected]
