Myspace Backgrounds The sensual vocals of Tracy Maree can be heard over the musical backgrounds and piano musings of James Jayson. The two artists have strived to give some of the worlds favorite musical standards and Jazz/Rock favorites, a fresh new sound.
Tracy comes from a country music background performing with her sister Robyn Lee, from Nashville to Detroit. Their partnership includes singing, writing, and producing two all original country music CD's.
Tracy Maree's many years of performing in front of a live audience has helped her to develop a stage prescence that makes it hard to look away. But, go ahead and close your eye's as she can take you away, with her commanding, smooth, and sultry voice.
Tracy Maree's recent descision to expand her musical styling from country to jazz will be quite a treat, even for her die-hard country fans. Because, "listening to Tracy sing any genre of music is a pleasure", James Jayson states. Listening to her interpretation of Jazz Standards, Showtunes, and other types of Popular music gives these many famous songs a fresh new sound.
James Jayson: arranger/performer/producer comes with a piano background, playing Rock, Jazz standards, and Country music his entire life. Having played solo restaraunt piano for many years, James has devoloped his own stylings and inserts his own originality into everything he plays.
James also enjoys performing Sleight of Hand Magic during his shows giving the audience an added surprise to those who were expecting just another piano player. "It makes each performance a unique experience", James says.
James and Tracy both agree that their music styles have evolved and reflect a maturity that blends their many years of experience.
James Jayson and Tracy Maree perform as a duo, or will bring a full band if an event demands it. As a duo, all their background music is programmed and arranged by James Jayson using the latest of technologies. All the piano is played live, of course!
