About Me

I'm a long-time student, wanting very badly to finish school so I canmove on with my life. I've been doing the whole work/school thing so it's taken awhile. I was born in San Diego and I was actually living about three blocks from one of theplaces I used to live and play back in the day. I lived in OverlandPark, KS from preschool through 5th grade (suburbia...not wheat fields and cow tipping), where I had plenty to do asa child. At just the right age I moved to "The No", Fresno,CA , where I lived through highschool . The summerafter graduating highschool, I moved down here, where I had dreamt of returning to my whole life, and instantly it feltlike home.
I'm sort of an adrenaline junkie . I've been riding mymotorcycle just about every day for the last 4.5 years, and am finding that I'm in need of more. While I was utterlyattached to my recent bike (I put over 40k miles on her), I've got my eyes on something new.
Someday I'd like to have a streetfighter or a cruiser as a second bike, but for now, I'mall about sportbikes (well...I've kinda got a streetfighter now). I'd alsolove to go kite-surfing, sky-diving, wake-boarding, and snowboarding. I'm not sure, career-wise, what I wanna do when Ifinish school...probably something to do with motorcycle design, but practicality aside, I'd love to racemotorcycles.
As far as my outlook on life, I've always wanted to know how everything works, from people to technology. While I don'tsubscribe to any sort of religious doctrine, I'm still a spiritual person. I believe there is a balance in the world,and I believe we're more than just walking sacks of meat, wandering around the world. I'm an optimistic person and Itend to give people the benefit of the doubt, and think people should treat each other with respect and considerationwhether they're your best friend, your worst enemy, or a total stranger.
For the summer I'm out of school, working full time at BuyMoto.com . I'm general manager there selling parts and gear. It's great working there, getting to meet more and more riders and some interesting clients around the country.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Old friends, new friends, and everything in between.
I'd also like to meet a girl who shares similar interests and who's not afraid to try something new. Someone who's adventurous, but at the same time is affectionate and appreciative. Timing is also key...I've done my share of baggage-handling (you'd be surprised), so I'm looking for someone who travels light. No matter how much you have in common or how well you connect, the old baggage will innevitably drag it down.

1996 Suzuki GS500E

It's my commuter. I plan to do a few mods here and there, but so far I've only put a new headlamp assemply on it. It looks like a transformer now. I've come to appreciate the fun that can be had on a small bike like this, sliding the rear-end around turns and romping around town on little hooligan rides here and there. I plan to put a new system in, pod filters, rejet it, put a belly-pan, and an ignition timing advance in it, and it'll pretty much be done. It'll be fun to take it down to Mexico every once in awhile too. I've ridden down on a sport bike and it's not as fun as it'd be with a bike like this or an off-road or dualsport.

End of Summer
