I'm a 21 year old feminist. I'm also a goth. Yes darlings goth that is the one with the fancy footwear and the flounces and sometimes the cyber version with the electronics, UV and even bigger fancy footwear. Kinda like emo (we wear black and have a reputation for sulking and bad poetry) only a lot harder and with music older than I am. This is based on the fact I look like a goth and most of my friends are goths - I also listen to too much goth music (and yes I read Poe and Hardy when I'm in the mood).
Things that interest me and WHY:
Feminism/s - in a world where 0.3% of rapes end in conviction feminism is still relevant. Academia and the history of the academy, reflections on and against academia.
Poetry that pre-dates rock music, think Milton, Shelly, Byron - these guys were the rockstars of their generations and there is a reason.
Theater. I like watching people act out plays much more than reading them off the page. Again I have a particular interest in the older stuff in why it has lasted but also how it has affected and effected our current culture/s.
Philosophy particularly Continental/Western philosophy but people thinking about thinking is just plain nifty no matter where or what they come up with.
Corsetry and corsets - itty bitty waists!
There are more but I'm getting bored of this game now.
I also sew, cook (vegetarian), ride horses (sometimes) and write (often).
Also: I'm not a Sagittarius I'm a Scorpio - I was born in the southern hemisphere - that means the star signs are a little different. I'm not sure why this bothers me but it does.
