Pablito y su Rumbon

Music will be unifying people and bring light to those whom struggle. I create groove, and make my people move. I come from a very humble beginning, lots of bumps, bruises and burns along the way. Growing up in Lost Angeles was......very interesting (1st generation,NO ES FACIL). I continue to learn more about letting my surroundings, my everyday become part of my musical expression. Living in the moment. Currently I gather with like minded musicians to create the tapestry of sound that forever envelops my mind, ears, and soul. My Family, the greatest inspiration for this love. I would always hear them playing "Salsa" and dancing around the house. I have to admit that I wasn't too into it at that time but I sure am happy that they enjoyed torturing me. My sister Michelle also had a lot to do with my musicality. She played classical on an upright piano EVERYDAY of my young life. I also sing and dabble with the bass, guitar, tres, and of course Drums/percussion. I intend on bringing you a fusion or mix of all my loves. Hip hop, Break Beats, Timba, Rumba, R&B, Musica Afro Peruano, Afro Cubano, poetry,etc............. I want my music to have a message, to educate, and promote much needed change.
