CONJUNTO FOLKLORICO NACIONAL : 1990-1998 Martha participated first as a dancer and then as the Conjunto Folklorico’s primer lead vocalist. She specialised in all Cuban traditional and popular forms of dance and music, within this time, Martha toured extensively to places such as The Far East including and The United States.
EUROPE: 1990-2005 Martha has worked as lead vocalist in bands based in Germany such as Macumbache, in Holland such as Bayuba cante and Chango Dance.
She toured and recorded with Omar Sosa, Grammy nominated pianist for over four years where she toured the world.
Martha has also been an experienced Workshop leader in Afro-Cuban Song and Dance, having worked in TanzHouse in Dusseldorf, Germany, Amsterdam Holland, Marseille France and England with Daniela’s Wild Indigo Project : www.myspace.com/londonlucumichoir
Martha formed her first group as band leader in Paris Galarumba in 2003.

"Cubaine de naissance mais citoyenne du monde par obligation", Martha Galarraga originaire de Luyano, quartier populaire de la Havane, baigne dans la culture Yoruba depuis sa naissance. Elle sillonne le monde au rythme "Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba" dont elle est soliste, pendant huit ans.
C’est en Europe, aux côtés d’Omar Sosa qu’elle rencontre le jazz, participe aux festivals de jazz du monde entier et chante même au Carnegie Hall.
Sa formation, GALARUMBA mèle tous les styles musicaux qui ont marqués Martica : rumba, afro-jazz, soul, salsa, funk, bossa...
