About Me

If I'm not listening to Tom Hamilton call tribe games on XM, be found during flat spells on the beach. I'll have a skimboard in one hand, cocktail in the other waiting for the perfect shorebreak. Unless the waves are pumping, then I'll be out a little farther cruising on the 7' egg. Part punk, part artist, part beach. sounds bad, works out good. I want to do as much as I can while I can. Appreciating life, state dependent memories, and existence.

My Interests

The beach, art, old times, baseball, comics, powder blue, bass, poker, skimboarding, My best fish Freddy...the real one, missing Autumn (the season, not some girl...although that's a great band name) telecaster guitars, carving lines on my egg, new hats, nice shoes, old shoes that look better with age, golf, taking my longboard apart, walking on railroad tracks, short sleeve button up shirts, beer appreciation, boating, fat ass swells, checkerboard patterns, boo-berry cereal, fishing, softball, beer coozies,

I'd like to meet:

My Grandfathers.

..

Music:

Mostly chill music with an ocean view. Still a lot of Buffet, ska, and acoustic guitar. AOL Radio's "punk U", is a great station. So is XM's Cross Country and The Joint. Some must haves: Bouncing Souls, Avoid One Thing, Fugazi, Rites of Spring, Mad Caddies, Op Ivy, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, CCR, Frank and Dino, Johnny Cash, Suicide Machines, yes everclear(ain't too badass to admit it), The Rentals, Matt Costa, The Longboards, Santo and Johnny, Billy Joel, Weezer, Rage, and sometimes...just sometimes Toby Keith....I know, I know.

Movies:

The ENTIRE Rocky Series, "Ey Yo Adrian, I ain't never talked to no door before". The untouchables, "It's better than you, ya stuck Irish...pig". The Great Gatsby, "They’re a rotten crowd, You’re worth the whole damn bunch put together". and any Batman flick, up to and including Batman Returns. Some must haves: Ghostbusters, Reality Bites, Clue, Back to the Future, The Outsiders, Coming to America, RAD, The Patriot, The Godfather (one and two only), Goodfellas, Field of Dreams, Superman (one two and four), Gangs of New York, Big, September Sessions, and Oscar.

Television:

Every Marlins game(Miguel Cabrera for MVP), random Indians games, D-rays here and there, and the Braves on Sunday. And of course King of Queens, The Simpsons, Family Guy, and The Sopranos.

Books:

Gotta give the love to C.S. Lewis and the chronicles of Narnia. Love the book "dance of days", and "four texts on Socrates". Batman year one. Superman Peace (on earth). Batman War (on crime). Spiderman blue. Daredevil yellow. Hulk grey. Batman black and white. Batman: the long halloween, Dark Victory, The haunted knight. Julius Ceasar and American Hardcore.

Heroes:

I'm gonna have to go with batman on this. He's dark he's pissed, he has at least two distinct personalities and a mafia like family. My friends and family are my true heroes. So, heres a few of my favorite moments with them:"If my Mom ever jiggled my balls, I think I'd just punch her" (JR on unwanted help with prom tux fittings)"It's no big Deal, I'll be fine" (Tony taking every shitty mishap in stride)"She'd be cute if she wasn't so damn ugly" (Chuck finding the positive in all things)"Moderation is the key" (Matt finding the balance between life and consumption)"It's not gettin' drunk, it's STAYIN' drunk" (Amanda reflecting on early morning drinking)"There's always going to be assholes, it's just how you deal with them" (Mom on living with morons)"Suffering builds character" (Luke, somehow finding a positive in walking a mile to school in single degree temps)"meow...meow..MEOW...[paws on slider door window]" (Dino, wanting to sit with me outside while I smoke)"I think I asked her to marry me that day" (Dad describing how he met my Mom.)"I ain't even Greek Motherfucker, I just crash your parties" (Lia's take on my non-Greekness)"You must be in love" (Nonna telling me I'm too skinny)
