In 1987, rock legend and cigar afficianado Ben Dudley was evicted from his mother's womb, and crashed at the home of his cousin and war buddy, Tommy Dudley, for the next few years. At this point, the two formed a bond that would famously result in tidal waves of greatness and smaller waves of influence and whimsy.
2004 found the two working in the same loud and grimy factory, spending hours in front of printing presses with nothing to do but talk and sing. Late one night a few years later, said talking and singing culminated in an after-work recording session between the two greats. Their first song, "I Can't Deal with That" (famous for being the only time Ben has actually sang anything) was the result.
The two continue to collaborate under a set of regulations known as The Dudley Manifesto:
1. Your music must be written and recorded in one sitting.
2. All recording software must be the basic, free version.
3. You must be named Dudley. This should be understood, but yeah.
