DJ O

25-year-old DJ O is just blessed to be here. He started spinning a couple years ago at the age of 17 growing up in Milwaukee,WI. Inspired by the movie “Juice” and then local mix show jock Fresh G (now known as Mike Love from WGCI) Omar was inspired to become a DJ. “O” started working hard learning this craft. At the age of 19, “O” became the youngest DJ in Milwaukee to be on a commercial radio station, WKKV. His grind and determination didn’t stop there. He also picked up a radio mix show at the now defunct WLYD. Always striving for more, “O” has went on to become a member of Doug Banks Morning Show All-Star Mixers (nationally syndicated morning show). He is apart of the Superadio, national syndication radio company, mix jocks. And last but not least, he is still holding down the radio at WKKV in Milwaukee. When asked “Do you DJ for the love or the money?” he answers, “90 percent for the love and 10 percent for the money, but don’t tell any promoters I said that.”
