About Me

Please watch this 30 second commercial before proceeding. It's hilarious. I promise.Now, carry on.Iâ€™m blessed with quite the charmed life. I can attribute it all to God who IS my life. Since I've found God, my life has changed drastically- inside and out. My outlook has changed; my mindset; the way I deal with things. I can now see things for what they are, and understand that everything that happens in my life is woven together for a purpose. Now, I live my life to shine His light on others through my actions, words, and experiences.I am a better person because of my relationship with God and I happily put my life in his hands. I love my job and 98% of the things that come with it. I'm a busy chic, but that's the way I like it. My days are filled with teaching, and my nights are spent taking care of other people's kids, church-related things, volleyball games, grad work and cooking killer dinners. My dreams in life are very important to me; I have a ton of them. I want to go far and do lots of good in this world. For more in-dept life goals, please consult personally.Randomness: I like pirates and NC history. I love being outdoors on a sunny warm day and I really dig nature- flowers and wild animals. I especially like to chase animals such as seagulls, ducks, and swans. I dislike confinement. It drives me absolutely NUTS when people don't put things back the way they found them. My hobby of choice is photography. Itâ€™s my vehicle for illustrating my feelings; where I am or where I want to be. I love music; although I can rarely tell you the name of a band, song, or album. I am obsessed in Disney. I am trying really hard to stop cursing so much. I drive horrible. I REALLY love my church, Port City Community Church, and I'm there as much as they'll let me. I lead small group of 9th grade girls who are cooler than I am. Like the children in my class, I find pleasure and amusement in the common and most simple aspects in life. I'm silly and giddy and laugh at ridiculous jokes.

Nicholas Sparks is my absolute favorite. He is a genius with emotions and words. Dr. Seuss, Danielle Steel. "Emotional Intelligence" by Daniel Goleman.

Heroes:

GOD! He gave me a new life at His own expense- and all of the blessings that I don't deserve. My mother because she is so strong and caring. There is just not enough words to explain what a wonderful woman she is and how I could not live without her. She is my best friend in the whole world. I can only hope to be the mother and best friend that she is one day. She says, "You rock, Mike Jones" which makes her even cooler than she already isOther than her, Walt Disney (he is amazing!) and Dr. Seuss (wonderful writer!)
