About Me

"Drum Whore" - I play in 3 bands. This keeps me very busy. Music is what makes me happy, so I do it all the time. I wake up, work, jam, sleep. Do this just about every day. For money, I work as a Video Project Coordinator for Technicolor, and enjoy learning as much I can. As a guy who decided not do any post-secondary edjumicating, I take value in learning through life experiance.
I’ve been living in Toronto for almost 4 years now, and I realize that there are some things I love about this city, and some things I hate. As for the love - I’ve been playing enough gigs to have met some really awesome, talented musicians, for the most part, it’s a great community here. I just hate the fact that just about every (there are exeptions) bar / club / promoter is more concerned with selling booze than offering patrons decent tunes. As for the hate - panhandlers, prostitution, crack-heads, crack-ho’s and random people asking for cigarettes. You can’t hide from this element, they’ll get you everywhere.
Aside from music, the gf, familiy and other friends top my list of thing important to me. I’ve managed to surround myself with some really great people who I’ve been able to maintain relationships with, well out of school. My family is great, we all get along fantasically, I wish I could spend more time with them, but one brother lives here in the city, and getting up to Lindsay every once in a while suffices.
So I plod away at life, hang my head in shame at what we as humans have done to this place and each other, but raise it back up again to follow through on the things I believe in.
If I know how to use the internet right, there should be a couple little videos here:

For the record, I’m not a machine...
