George Bailey

I was born in Bedford Falls, New York in 1907. After saving my brother from untimely death at the age of 12, I lost hearing in my left ear. I worked for old man Gower's Drug store through my adolescent years and dreamed of traversing the world. Those dreams finally seemed to be coming true; the sudden death of my father caused me to stay in Bedford Falls to run the Building and Loan. After Harry (my little brother) graduated from college it was my turn, except that he was getting married and I was stuck once again at the Buidling and Loan. Shortly after, I married Mary Hatch and we started our wonderful family. I love my wife and children, Tommy, Janie, and ZuZu with all of my heart. However, dumbass Uncle Billy decided to be a dumbass and screw over the Building and Loan. At that point I realized that I was worth more dead than alive. as I planned my suicide some other dumbass jumped into the water and I had to save him. He was my guardian angel, Clarence Oddbody. He showed me what I mean to these people and this town and I've never been the same since.
