My Interests

Reading, writing, traveling, taking pictures, watching sports, eating chocolate- and just plain enjoying life!!!Eat drink and be fat and drunk; that's what I say:D style="visibility:visible;"

I'd like to meet:

I've been blessed in my work that I've had the opportunity to meet most of the people I've ever wanted. I still aspire to speak with Dr. Maya Angelou. I'd like to do a Caribbean cooking segment with Denzel Washington. I would love to discuss misconceptions about Hannibal Barca with Vin Diesel. And from a professional stand point, I'd like to just pick Oprah's brain!

Music:

I was born in seventy-seven and I seem to have a thing for singer songwriters. I love Dirty South rap, classic hip-hop, old school R&B and the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim.

Movies:

I Like mostly comedies....I love to laugh. Among my favorites are Blazing Saddles, Smokey & the Bandit, Friday, Big Trouble in Little China, Anchorman, Monty Python & the Holy Grail, Harlem Nights... but I also love James Bond- 40 years and 23 movies can't be wrong. Who doesn't like Pitch Black?

Television:

I like travel and food programs mostly. I also watch Alias, Dexter, Family Guy, any sports, The Boondocks, The Amazing Race, and Scrubs, oh and can't forget Chappelle Show.

Books:

I read a little bit of everything. I love Walter Mosley's Easy Rawlins Series, Langston Hughes The Best of Simple, Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, and Ian Fleming's original James Bond series. Currently I'm reading Tales of 1001 Nights, translated by Sir Richard Burton (also born March 19th)

Heroes:

The Singleton, Hunt, Lewis, Johnson, Graham, and Hemingway families. Breast Cancer Survivors Lily Mae and Peggy. As well as "PeaPop" who continues his fight with Parkinsons.
