About Me

AUTOGRAPH REQUESTS: c.j. wilson c/o Rangers MLB clubhouse Arlington, TX 76011
check out my blog on ... http://cjwilson.mlblogs.com
Well Texans - I've made clear that it is in fact me running the page...so I should be here for awhile ..
My name is c.j.
- I'm a relief pitcher for the Texas Rangers. I'm originally from Huntington Beach, CA but have decided to go all the way, become a texas resident, buy a house here, and make a commitment to my baseball career and the team by living here all year around. I'm looking forward to watching fans get on the ranger bandwagon while the youth movement turns our team around in the next few seasons...
feel free to ask questions (no I'm not gonna give away tickets!) and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Hopefully my blogs and bulletins get some good responses like on my last go around. (I'm gonna deny every gif image html comment- I think it makes the page look cluttered. photo type images are okay.)I'm a life time drug free athlete- and I believe it's up to me to be a good example for kids. I've never drank, smoked or done drugs, and with all the idiot mtv generation celebs acting like partying is the only way to act- someone's got to take a stand and show young kids that's not the only way celebs or role models act. I'm not here to preach to adults- you're lost or found on your own at this point. I also think it's hilarious to people watch- aka watch people make goofs out of themselves. earth to the club scene people- you're not celebrities! nobody cares about your purse! nobody cares about your cousin's roommate who knows so and so! well that's not true, club scene people obviously do. I also think it's funny that so many girls want to "be like paris" or have celebutantes, or "reality stars" etc as their heroes- a bright future is in store for you!

My Interests

*guitar hero1+2+3 (official top ranked player on the 40 man roster)
* animal planet HDTV- shark week kicks ass. and seeing those snake attacks and shark week is amazing in HiDef. I love watching people get bit while handling live animals...so funny
* exploring dallas , and other cities in the AL. I love to go try new restaraunts with my friends and am having a great time in big D.
* I'm crazy for sports cars, and auto racing. I can't wait to spend some more time on the racetrack where it's a lot safer than the tollway or highway 75.
* and of course working out.
* trying new restaraunts here in dallas
* my favorite foods involve tortillas and chopsticks.
* I really want to live on the water- beaches, rivers, lakes...I'm soothed by water.
* I love modern design and art
* <3 my sidekick phone...I'm on aim, texting, emailing all day
* we get to travel all over the country for free, so hopefully I'd be able to get a heads up on whats cool everywhere I go, from seattle to new york. But that's up to my friends on here
* straightedge
* keeping my food local and organic as much as possible
* i'm always looking for music to expand my mind , and motivate me those last few steps...
* I want to travel to brazil, argentina, u.k., italy, germany, switzerland, hungary, monaco, spain, portugal, greece, australia, new zealand, ireland, and hey why not throw in some random scandanavian country also... but screw france- if it wasn't for Nice, St. Tropez and the renault formula one team, I wouldn't even want a postcard from there...haha

* jamba juice
* free shoes, free clothes, and free food...what a combination!
* my new Gibson SG guitar

I'd like to meet:

Irina Shaykhlislamova ...wouldn't that be great

Anyone, especially those of you who put up fake pictures on your profile and lie about your identity. - I'm relatively new in dallas. Everyone on my friends list. People who laugh at movie lines, people who laugh at me, and themselves when appropriate. Baseball fans, haters, and sports fans in general...anyone who cheers the yankees when they play the rangers...boooooo to you-haha. Also I guess I'm open to americans, canadians, europeans, and other residents of other planets even- as long as you either like burritos, sports, and/or similar movie and music styles as myself, and look entertaining. If you have thoughtful quotes in your head from a respectable film, peacemaker, or yourself, that's good too. If you received a friend request from me- chances are you fit something from the above list. If you see me out and about, come say hello- don't be scared. Someone who can teach me something, anything...are you out there? people in europe when I travel there in a few months...

so who else fits in there? i'm gonna go ahead and hold out til I'm good and ready- the more I grow in the mean time the more incredible my equal will be one day...a big heart can go a long way- but in my current lifetime I've had enough darkness to know that love isn't everything or the only thing. I've been fooled by each of those and refuse to compromise my position. if you're still reading all the way down here I commend you!

so why two profiles? I built this one in the past to compartmentalize my life a bit .., since i've been on myspace since 2003 I don't want to cross the streams or close down the other one but it's primarily used for friends and stuff I've known from back home in California. This page is for me to meet new people in texas, or around the world and at the same time I recognize that a lot of baseball fans are on here- so here is your chance to speak up! Oh yeah and thanks to all the fans who send me pics.

I respond to as many people as I can, and I am going to start posting more blogs of our convos- especially for the younger kids who always ask me pitching and general baseball questions...

Frequently asked Questions...Is it really you? YES. I really don't think I'm important enough to have someone else impersonate or answer things for me. Would you want someone else reading all your mail?

So what do you do on your offdays?...well number one is sleep in. I don't golf, because I'd rather drive one of my cars around.

I'm not from SoCal-where do I go for a burrito? - well if you're in Huntington beach- las barcas on beach blvd. if you're somewhere else in OC and on vacation- head to wahoos.

Do you really throw the gyroball? Can you teach me? Yes I throw it, and I don't think I should be teaching that pitch yet...especially over the internet.

hey do you want to hang out and grab a drink? NO. I DON'T DRINK!

where can I get autographs? - I posted a blog about that...#50 something.

where can I see that rangers 911 video you did? - that's on my blog @ cjwilson.mlblogs.com check the archive section for March

Do you want to join my fantasy baseball league? ---Sorry I can't, it's a huge conflict of interest!
