Road Weary Traveler

Oh the dreaded "About Me" section....Well, to quote one of my favorite characters: "I don't have unrealistic goals, but I hope to live a life that is suitable to me." That's me in a nutshell. I'm a simple man, though my life isn't always simple. On the outside I'm a cynic. Deep down I'm the eternal optimist. Most people don't know that about me. At times I'm a wanderer and a vagabond, belonging nowhere and to no one. I expect a lot out of myself, therefore I expect a lot out of the few people that I surround myself with. I come from a time and place where things that are left unspoken are more important than those things freely expressed. I'm willing to give just about anybody a chance. It's the SECOND chance you may not get. I'm old fashioned in the fact that I'll always be the guy that says "Please" and "Thank you" (in fact I can say "thank you" in six languages). I'll always be the guy that holds the door open for other people, and I'll always give up my seat on a crowded train to a lady or the elderly (despite the fact that got me strange looks on a crowded rush hour train in Tokyo). But then again...when did common courtesy and being a gentleman become "old fashioned"? MyGen Profile Generator
