I am a creator, first and foremost. My gifts as a musician, vocalist, dj, writer, producer etc. come from more than just me. As I have evolved spiritually and emotionally, I have realized the amazing power that all artists must tap into to create their medium. Just that alone blows my mind. I am continually reminded that I am given the opportunity to share my gifts with people, and so it is.
I had a ego driven bio up earlier, and it literally made me cringe. Yes, I have had success. Yes, I have had the privilege to spin with some of the best DJ's in the world. Yes, I can sing well, am classically trained, and have worked with many great producers, being published and credited on a very successful CD by a world renowned DJ/Producer. Yes, I co-created and produced an incredible party called CLUBSODA, with my awesome partner, Charlie Brown. Yes, as Jayne Bond I produce original tracks, and have been published on a CD called Girls in Space.
Yes these are all positive experiences that shape the future of my music and art.
However......I feel that the universal law empowers those that humble themselves, providing more opportunity, and CLARITY. Therefore, I am in a state of gratitude, and humility, for I am human and will continue to make mistakes.
The past is the past, to be learned from and to move on and grow. All things good and bad in my past, shape me for a more tangible future, and a deeper success. My writing is deep and meaningful, because of the pain and pleasure I experience. I love the me I am today, and I wouldn't have that self- love if I hadn't overcome the challenges in my past. Like a phoenix rising up through the ash.....
