Joanna Griffin

Welcome to the site of the hottest new female vocalist...Joanna Griffin! Joanna has been working hard for a number of years to make great music and have fun doing so. From the first time Joanna made her stage debut, at the age of 3years, in her local dance school's production of Hansel and Gretel, to performing and making a living from the entertainment business and carving out a career today, she has never been more sure of her path in life. "I've always known what my destiny in life is" says Joanna, "and now I'm reaching for my goals" Since that first dance production 16 years ago, Joanna has taken a keen interested in acting, singing, and dancing.At the age of 16 Joanna decided to break away and live away from her family home in Hertfordshire. "I was timid and wanted to gain confidence, So I decided that when I left school at 16 I would look for a college away from Hertfordshire to study performing arts at. This way I would still be educating myself on what I want to do in life, but also, I would be getting independant and gaining more confidence in my life" From the ages of 16 - 18, Bristol was Joanna's new home. As well as living in Bristol for two years, Joanna managed to get a singing job in Fuerteventura in the canary islands. She lived and worked in Fuerteventura for 6 months at the age of 19.Recently Joanna has made a number television appearances; shades of black (canadian films 2005) and she also taken the likliness of Charlotte Church in a spoof, reality tv comedy called Time Trumpet (BBC1 2006). Joanna has also appeared on the hugely popular show, Date My Mom (MTV 2006), Playdate (ITV2 2006) and Balls of Steel (Channel 4, 2007) Strutter gear (2007). Joanna has also been in music videos for up and coming hot new bands such as Camel One and for well known artists like Chico for his new single "Coca Cola bottle body". However, Joanna gains the most enjoyment out of performing in front of live audiences. To name but a few apperances, Joanna has appeared at, both Sadlers Wells Theatre and Her Majestys Theatre, in a "Stars Of Their Eyes show". She has also sung live at DisneyLand Paris for the Mardi Gras Company.However Joanna's main ambition has always been to be successful in the music industry. Joanna is currently keeping busy writing and recording fresh, new songs so keep an ear out. Watch out for this girl, she's heading straight for the top.
