We are both Pagan and are so proud of being able to declare this without being ridiculed or being accused of being devil worshippers. It's a beautiful belief system and to those of you who want to criticise or say otherwise, I am keen to learn more about other religions/beliefs so please do me the courtesy of doing the same.
I'd like to meet:
I would give my eye teeth to meet my friends: Jess, Imelda, Karen, Shannon and Gil, who all live in the USA. If someone would have said to me a couple of years ago that I would soon have very close friends in the US, I'd have laughed! I can't believe, well yes I can believe, it's just that I want to say that I am so blessed to have those people in my life (and if it wasn't for you Jess, this bloody profile wouldn't be written - yes, nagging does pay off sometimes!)
Music:
I love all sorts of music really, as long as it makes me feel good, I don't mind what it is! I love strong female vocal performances, Lisa Gerrard and Barbra Striesand are two of my all time favourites. I love rock music too, Pink Floyd being one of the best gigs I've ever been to. I have a HUGE collection of cds and vinyl and not enough hours in the day or year for that matter to listen to it all!
Movies:
OMG films......I love films. I love so many actors, namely, Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, John Travolta, Ken Stott, Dame Judi Dench, Bruce Willis, Rob Lowe. Favourite films include: anything with the above actors in. I love anything that Stephen Spielberg has ever done. I am a long time devotee of the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy and definitely know where my towel is!!!
Television:
I watch loads of telly. I love it and I've just recently discovered the West Wing - omg such a brilliant series. Stephen Fry: he's a bloody genius and constantly makes me laugh! I love ER, various soaps, Big Brother (no comment), most of the programmes transmitted by Channel 4 and E4 and all sorts of others!! lol
Books:
Well, at the moment, I have about 5 books on the go and am trying to read Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince before the film comes out! I love reading biographies and anything that captures my imagination. Authors I love are: Douglas Adams, Dan Brown, Dean Koontz, Michael Bentine, Michael Moorcock et al...
Heroes:
I think my hero is my husband Ian. He loves me completely, without question and I don't know what I would do without him. I have had some medical problems over the years and he has been a constant source of support and comfort.
