About Me

I love bloopers. TV bloopers, movie outtakes, you name it. But practical joke shows and hidden camera shows and prank calls over the radio make me super uncomfortable. Pants without pockets, in my opinion, have little to no place on this earth. Neither do mushrooms. I don't really watch television; not because I think I'm above it, but because I don't have cable or good reception. I do believe my brain thanks me for that, however. Improv comedy has become one of my biggest sources of creativity, friends, and stress relief. I have a bad habit of returning library books late. I always take my own pillow when staying overnight anywhere. I want to see the Egyptian pyramids very badly. I love to read, and I always have two or three books going at once. I don't understand it when people get into the shower first and then start the water. I have loved working with kids for the past six years, but I still uphold that I don't want any of my own. My mom's cherry pie is the best pie there is, and I'll have words with anyone who says otherwise. I enjoy wearing hats; they make my head feel cozy. ..

My Interests

Theater, improv, reading, movies, wearing hats, rearranging furniture, drawing, writing, going to the gigantic downtown library, guacamole.

I'd like to meet:

Maya Angelou. So she could share some of her ass-kicking wisdom with me. The person who invented cake batter ice cream. So I could hug and kiss him or her with eternal thankfulness. Aaron Neville. So I could punch him and make him promise never to sing again.

Amelie, How to Make an American Quilt, The Sound of Music, Clue, French Kiss, The Princess Bride, Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, American Beauty, The Lord of the Ring movies, Rudy, The Goonies, The Shawshank Redemption, St. Elmo's Fire, Scary Movie 1 and 2, Rounders, The Usual Suspects, Coal Miner's Daughter, Sliding Doors. I'm a sucker for an Inspirational Sports Movie. Or anything with Steve Zahn.

Television:

Aw hell, I don't have cable. And my reception sucks. Right now, I'm into TV on DVD: Heroes, Dexter, Arrested Development, The Office, and I just got the Planet Earth series. Best of all time: Wings, Designing Women, Golden Girls, Pee Wee's Playhouse.
