About Me

I am a happily married man(23yrs). She has a MySpace account also, she goes by IRISH DIVA. I am looking to get to know new and interesting people. I am not here, looking to hook-up with anyone. Irish and me have known each other since we were babies in Ohio. I moved to Arizona in 1970 at age 10. We had no contact with each other again, until she graduated high school and was on her own for a few years. By the way, this is important to know. The last thing she said before I moved to AZ, after hearing me say I was going to basically find me a beautiful Indian maiden. She told a friend that someday she was going to marry me. Anyways, my parents and hers got together and decided to get us together on my 23rd birthday. She had a battle plan ready. She brought 2 swimsuits with her. A sexy bikini if she liked me and a one piece if she didn't. All I can say is she must have liked me, because she knocked my socks off. We hit it off and next thing I know, I asked her to marry me and it's been 23yrs of ups and downs, good times and bad. We have stood together against all odds and have survived. I am looking forward to all the future challenges and wonderful times to come...

My Interests

I love the outdoors and nature. I have done the following activities: Swim team, track and field, cross-country racing, a couple of marathons,kayaking,mountain climbing, fishing, camping, exploring caves and hiking. I love traveling when I get the opportunity. Some places I have been are: Germany(before the wall came down), Spain,France,Austria,England, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, South Korea, Japan, Canada(Quebec,Ontario,Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan. The only states I haven't had the opportunity to visit yet are: WASHINGTON,OREGON,MONTANA,NORTH&SOUTH DAKOTA'S,IDAHO AND HAWAII. All I do plan on visiting someday. I would travel all the time if I could. I hate being stuck in one location or work inside. I get like a caged animal.

I'd like to meet:

I like talking and getting to know interesting people who like communicating on a regular basis. I am not interested in keeping people as friends that just sign on to get a lot of friends. Not looking for drama or head games. Just friends to talk with and share interests with.

Music:

I love a lot of different types and genre of music. I have a real love for PINK FLOYD, WHITE STRIPES, NAZARETH, ALAN PARSONS PROJECT, AC-DC, LINCOLN PARK, and TEARS FOR FEAR. These are only a small fraction of what I like. I am a huge OPIE AND ANTHONY listener on XM-RADIO and free FM(CBS RADIO STATIONS) I also enjoy listening to RON & FEZ on XM.

Movies:

I love horror and action movies the best. Here are a few titles: DAWN OF THE DEAD, GETTYSBURG, TOMBSTONE, LAND OF THE DEAD, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, STARSHIP TROOPERS, PRETTY IN PINK, BREAKFAST CLUB, MOULIN ROUGE, GODZILLA. Those are some of my favorites.

Television:

I enjoy some goofy shows. FAMILY GUY, SOUTH PARK, SIMPSON'S, 2 1/2 MEN, KING OF QUEENS, WAR AT HOME. Some others are CSI and CSI MIAMI, JERICO, HEROS, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, SG-1 AND STARGATE ATLANTIS.

Books:

I read TERRY BROOKS, DENNIS L. MCKEIRRAN, BRIAN LUMLEY, STEPHEN KING; AND DEAN KOONTZ

Heroes:

My hero's are my father(deceased), my oldest brother, my son Jared and especially my love, Shelly. For standing by me and being there for me during all the lean years and 16years in the ARMY. During the first Gulf War. I also have a great respect for all the men and women and their families involved in the military. Both those on current duty and those who have served this great country.
