My Interests

Music:

Jason Mraz, Great Big Sea, Barenaked Ladies, OTR, Divisi, The Coats, Jason Webley, among far too many others to name. If you find anything new and interesting, I'm always open! Send it my way.

Movies:

I will just try and keep a list here of movies I have seen recently and how I have felt about them. That will be easier than trying to pick a list of favorites.Recently seen: --Iron Man: Who better to play a cocky, womanizing, alcoholic millionaire than a cocky, womanizing, alcoholic millionaire? No kidding, Downy Jr. is FANTASTIC as Tony Stark. It is a pleasure to see him return to the big screen in not just a good comic book film, but a good film. He is a blast to watch, and I hope for the best for him. What a talented actor. Jeff Bridges also rocks my world. I'm already looking forward to the [virtually inevitable] sequel.Looking forward to: The Dark Knight, The Wind That Shakes the Barley.

Books:

I thought this may be an appropriate place to talk about my most recently read books and plays, as opposed to a list of favorites (which I will never be able to list entirely).Recently finished: The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by JK Rowling.Currently reading: The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger, An Acrobat of the Heart by Stephen Wangh, and Oleanna by David Mamet.Looking forward to: Paradise Lost by Milton and a large list of books and plays this summer (I hope). I really want to read Jitterbug Perfume again and possibly explore some other Tom Robbins books. (The only other Robbins book I have read is Another Roadside Attraction. Brilliant!)

Heroes:

Pretty cool tv show. Awfully lonely occupation.
