Zonya Maraet~"The Actress"

Well where do I begin? For starters I was born Zonya Maraet Robinson August 27, 19** lol lets just say I'm an 80's baby. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX and am counting the days when I leave. I have five sisters...yes five and two brothers one is deceased. Coartne Ketel Robinson RIP--- I have always dreamed of being an actress since I was a little girl. I acted in numerous church plays as a child thanks to my Grandmother. Once in Jr High School, I was in a number of productions such as "HELP"! under the direction of Daryl Gilmore, he is such a talented actor/teacher. My high school years were kind of a drag I had given up on acting besides doing plays for the youth department at church. During my teenage years I was really depressed and angry with things that I yet carry and still haunt me to this day. Thanks to God I have learned to keep going inspite of setbacks and disappointments. I went on to study Theater at Prairie View A&M University under the superb teaching of Clarence Lee Turner in which I became one of the renowned Charles Gilpin Players (CGP BAYBEEEEE)!!! Although my stay there was short I learned so much and I thank C Lee Turner for being patient and investing time in me. He saw past the anger and frustration and never held his tongue from the truth. Thank You!! After my journey from PV I did a number of play productions including "A Summers Experience", "Truth or Die", "If I Never See Forever", just to name a few (if you want more check my resume) I have two independent films under my belt. "A Letter To Boston" was my first directed by Rodney Perkins with RNP Productions, thanks for the opportunity Rodney. It was a fun experience and it is what I love to do. Currently I am finishing my last semester in college at Texas A&M University-Commerce where I am studying Sociology and Theater. During my time here I got the chance to direct my own play "The Colored Museum", it was hard work but the stress paid off and I had a BLAST!!! Oh and my cast was the BOMB!!! Acting is my passion, it is what I do, it is who I am a true THESPIAN!!!! God has given me this talent and I will NOT sit on it. I'm so blessed that he chose me and trusted me with such a gift because every play/film/photo shoot/anything that I have been apart of is because of HIM!! He gets all the glory TRUST!! God has been so good to me forreal. People judge and form their own opinions but I know who God is and He knows me better than I know myself and I trust Him with my life. He is my everything my all and all my friend. When there was no one else He was there even when I left Him He never left me. He loves me inspite of my mess and He is constantly proving himself to me daily. God is getting ready to stir some things up in my life, I feel it...I know it!!! He has already begun opening so many doors for me and given me favor beyond all measures. I got to take this moment to give praise to whom its due because He has placed the right people in my life so I can walk in the things He has destined for my life and promised me. I TRUST HIM WITH MY LIFE.....HES MY ALL YALL....MY EVERYTHING....I LOVE HIM and thats whats real!!!!! Thanks to all who support me with your actions, thoughts, and prayers it is greatly needed and appreciated. All my haters know that your my number one fans, and all my enemies know that you are secretly my closest friends HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
