About Me

New Season is "Tampa Bay's Rock Band". They are the first of an all new breed of music created to inspire and sympathize with the human condition and all that it encompasses. The band's name represents the hardship people face in life and the ability to start over. The members of New Season consist of Ian Caruthers, lead vocalist, Joseph Vassalo, guitar and back up vocals, Joshua Baker, bass, and Kevin Landseadel, drums. Each member has their own specialized background in different genres of music. The four together create the genre defining alternative rock sound, which can only be described as "Dark Pop". This band is entirely dedicated to their music and never falls short of giving every effort needed to succeed within the music industry. Due to the band's dedication, they have been presented with a great deal of opportunities that have furthered their knowledge of the industry and prepared them for a career. We've had the opportunity to play alongside many big names such as, Starting line, Rise Against, Lamb of God, Jaimeson Park, Less than Jake, Underoath, and many others. Joining the ECI stage on the Van's Warped Tour '06, we had an offer to tour this year, but had to turn it down due to some technical issues. We're now working with SAB records to attempt to get our full length album, "You Should Know", put together. We have been featured on 98rock, and done on air interviews for 88.5FM, as well as appearing regularly on 97x's localmotion and several Internet Radio Stations. We also have a huge following in Brazil. (this goes out to you all, keep rocking!)
