So after resisting many a request for making my own page, I'm finally giving in. I've given in so i can put up a calendar of my gigs for those that are interested, and fellow musicians that may need to book me on a gig.
I've been getting many requests for friends from around the world, and Ive got mixed feelings about it. I created this page for those here in Salt Lake City, Utah, U.S.A. that would like to check out when I'm playing next, or that want to book me for a gig. I'm not on here to be famous, nor network with every musician or wanna-be musician from some country I'm not going to anytime soon. I'm sure it would be great jammin' with you, but the chances are slim, unless you live in Salt Lake City, Utah. If you live in another country, you don't want to know when my next gig is, you won't be booking me, and frankly i don't want to know when your next gig is either. Nor do I want bulletins asking me to vote for your friend in the most sexy myspace page. Now there are a few of you that I have added because I really really dig your tunes, but for the most part, I don't want to keep adding people from all over the world unless I actually know you. Some seem to be on here to prove their worth by how many friends they have, well that is just stupid. I know you aren't adding me because of the few tunes on my page, because they are nothing special, they are there as a demo for local folks to listen to when looking to book me. So please, think twice when wanting to add me if you are not from my area, or an old buddy, and at least give me a reason why you want to add me. Thanks.
I'm a freelance Sax-a-ma-phonist. I teach private lessons and perform as much as possible. Music is my main passion. If you are looking to book me or one of the bands I play with (at the moment, there are 9 i think), please write me a quick note. I play/played so many styles of music i've lost count, although i'm not 100% proficient in any of them, I can hold my own.
I'm not here on myspace to be in any sort of popularity contest or online drama, just to keep the music alive. Keeping that in mind, i'm not having anything in my COMMENTS SECTION. If you want to say "hi" please just email me. No offence intended. I'm attempting to keep this simple.
