In my world, music is the audibly tangible essence of spirituality.
The Inviolable:
Ω I literally never stop creating. Ω I judge and expect to be judged.
Ω I do not fear rejection - I'll be me. you be you. If we mesh, that's wonderful; if we do not, at least our exchange will be genuine. Ω I revere my time alone.
Ω I dance daily. Ω I respect people of conviction and welcome a difference of opinion when it can be articulately supported. Ω I always find pleasure in the process & sincerely believe doing so is a key component to discovering & maintaining inner peace & fulfillment.
Ω I am utterly revolted by people that choose to be “victims.” Ω I appreciate life and all the opportunities it presents.
Ω I see the value of coupling data with intuition. Ω I am hopelessly addicted to passion and intensity, even when it’s to my own detriment.
Ω I am not afraid to fall, but I deeply fear contentment. Ω I will never consciously alter my art to obtain the approval of others.
Ω I do not let many in, but when I do, I will oftentimes immolate myself, if necessary to champion their cause. Ω Each of my scars tells a story and is meaningful to me.
Ω I can laugh at myself, but will not allow humility to stunt progression. Ω To me, truth, nobility, honor and intention are paramount.
Ω I cannot be owned, and have no desire to possess even those I recognize as precious.
The Frivolous:
♥ I love all forms of aesthetic expression, including fashion, hair, makeup, etc. I’ve observed that those that spout drivel akin to “looks don’t matter,” tend to look like shit. To me, the way a person adorns themselves is a direct reflection and extension of their level of creativity and self awareness. For the true artist it is not even a choice. ♥ Life is for living; I am passionately devoted to having a good time in any setting, anywhere, any time. If you’re too cool or uptight to understand this concept, you should probably just stay in your tower.
♥ Crack, crystal & heroin are out; all other substances have their place in moderation. ♥ I have a dysfunctional addiction to atypical dieting and fitness regiments.
♥ I rarely concern myself with what is in, or what I’m “supposed” to like. I prefer to be aware of everything from high-end to rag-tag, low-brow to classical, chic to tacky and then use my own discretion to discern what speaks to me personally (this applies music, art, clothes and so much more) ♥ Though I am potently sexually liberated & open-minded, I prefer to know and care for someone deeply before sharing that particular dance.
♥ I am virtually impossible to offend & see no topic as taboo. ♥ Sleeping close to people I care for is pure joy.
♥ I’m adeptly capable of being coldly assertive when warranted, but my natural state is sensitive, emotional, and loving. ♥ I'm a motherfucking snuggle-monster!
