Being a native New Yorker, I lived in a city my entire life (until 2003), that had a mixture of all different countries together. If I wanted to go to Asia, I could just hop a subway to Flushing. Russia...Brighten Beach Brooklyn, Greece is Astoria, Poland is Greenpoint. The city is vibrant with many expats. I think you get what I mean. It was an exciting place to get to know so many different cultures and have a variety of people from all over the world whom I can call friends. I have traveled for many years abroad. Of all my travels the image I always remember was when I first visited Spain in 1970. The first glimpse I caught from above was surprising, It looked very dry, mostly brown earth and I couldn't find the Mediterranean. I was relieved, the sea was not only there, but it was beautiful as well. So beautiful, that I now reside and write there. My writing has been published in Europe and the U.S.Indulge in the mystical, meditative and surreal aspects of the world...Whether you are a season traveler or not; when you come to Europe for the first time, BE WARNED: these countries are addicting!!
