About Me

I have been married for 40 years, with 3 adult children and 8 grandchildren. I also have two cats, Sass A. Frass and Phiddle D. Dee. You may ask why I would name a cat Phiddle (pronounced like the musical instrument), it was the name I used in a short story in High School about sentient beings that evolved from felines. I also have a Boston Terrier named Trudy B. Dog. If anyone is wondering why my pets are named as they are, well, I had help from three of my young granddaughters.

I don't watch much television.

Books:

I read my first book (the kind with a hard cover and no pictures) in 1950. It was Rocket Ship Galileo by Robert A. Heinlein. I read one, two or sometimes thee books weekly. I mostly read Fantasy and Science Fiction, but I also like historic novels and anything which looks like a good story.
